While fly fishing in Maine stay in a private, remote, “off the grid” rustic cabin on Sugar Island, Moosehead Lake, Maine.

Tara and Sterling provide you with a cozy island cabin on Moosehead Lake. Relax in the great Maine wilderness in your own private rustic cabin, originally owned by Henry Red Eagle. Listen to loons every evening on the shore of Sugar Island, Moosehead Lake.

We will transport you from Lily Bay State park to Sugar Island and will be nearby in our small log cabin for any entertainment, transportation, or assistance that you need. Sterling is a registered fishing and hunting Maine Guide and can be hired by the week or the day to take you fly fishing for brook trout, landlocked salmon, or smallmouth bass on the nearby lakes, streams, or remote ponds. We can take you fishing on world class streams and rivers or we can hike into heritage trout ponds to fish for beautiful native Maine brook trout.

The cabin has recently been renovated and sleeps up to 4 adults.
